ThingsAsian
Biographical Info:
ThingsAsian started as a print magazine named Destination:Vietnam, which covered contemporary Vietnam's art, culture, history and travel destinations.
Destination:Vietnam went online in early 1995, at the suggestion of our friend and supporter Melissa Walia, who was at the time with the Well. The web site grew quickly and in October 1996, got its own domain - destinationvietnam.com
ThingsAsian.com was registered in July 1998, to expand our coverage to all of Asia. By the end of 2003, we cover most of the countries of Asia.
