Biographical Info:
I currently work in the tourism industry and my first taste of Asia was a month in Japan through Rotary International's Group Study Exchange for young professionals. In March 2006, reading Khaled Hosseini's "The Kite Runner" inspired me to visit Afghanistan. I joined Global Exchange on a 10-day trip to Kabul and met with women to see how they are progressing in a post-Taliban society.
I dream of visiting Vietnam, Thailand and South Korea.
